Everyone has a budget.
From the smallest franchise to the corporate giant, if you're designing your business for the first time or updating your business - you're making an investment. Your guest's or client's happiness with the final look and feel of your establishment is very important to Cheri, who will work with you, and advise the best solutions within your budget. Have a home that won't sell? Spice up those boring walls! Add an adult or children's playroom with all the bells and whistles. Or, opening a new bar or restaurant? Nothing brings in new patrons like crazy art filled walls! Doctors and dentists, make your waiting room a wonderful place for kids to feel at ease! Cheri wants you to choose a mural, art style, crazy cartoons for kids, or faux paint style that will last for years, and continue to bring you happiness. Now, that's a wise investment!
How Cheri Charges:
By the job or per room
Most of Cheri's prices are set per completed job. Different factors can change pricing. Wall preparation, working space, inside or outside conditions, accessibility to project, height of project, and use of specific materials are all factors in pricing. No job is ever the same, even if the style is similar.
Some clients may need the creation of sample boards of your project, showing the style of paint or a design solution, faux finish or mural/cartoon sketches, for approval by upper management. These charges are separate from the per-day or per-hour cost of the total project. You may need as few as one or as many as six sample boards-sketches for your design.
Before any work begins, a 50% deposit is required for supplies and start up cost.
By the hour, for touch-ups, color consulting, and sketch services
Hourly rates are charged for work for less than full day jobs. Overtime on a day is not generally added. Touch up work done on murals and faux paint in main guest areas is very common. Depending of the amount of damage, most minor repairs are done within an hour. Color consulting can be done by the hour or by the day.
Rates for commissioned artwork completed in her home studio are less than on site
Labor is still per the hour or per day, though it is less than on site work charges. You may incur some additional charges for specialty artwork, including the cost of a canvas or any additional materials other than paint.
Travel exceeding a 50 mile or one hour commute
Excessive travel time will incur a surcharge added to the project fee, based on time, tolls and distance traveled.
Prices include all materials, with few exceptions
Additional material fees may be added for wall glazing projects that require more than the normal allotment of glaze and paint products, or for special varnishes. In these situations, Cheri only charges for the amount of the additional materials.
